HOW TO MAKE A COMMENT

I've been publishing this blog for more than two years.  What I do is write stuff and, from time to time, take photos and make little video clips. I'm OK if I stick to doing no more than this - but there is the matter of Comments which I want, I need; if I don't get Comments then I might as well be stuck in that place where rests the poor soul who wrote Last Letter to Lorna (you haven't seen this? You are missing something very special). So this is what you do (don't ask me why it is so damned awkward - blame the work experience kids).

At the end of the post you'll see line of text saying Posted by Keith Winfield Diggle.

On the same line you see the word COMMENTS (it may be preceded by the number of Comments already received but because of the f****** system it will almost always say 0.

Hover over the word COMMENTS and give a little click with your mouse.

There will (should?) appear a box headed POST A COMMENT.
And there is an empty box awaiting your comment.
Click somewhere within the box.

A cursor will appear at the top left corner of the box. This means it's ready for you to ... make a COMMENT.

So type it in. Don't just sit there mystified. DO IT!

Under the box you will see the words COMMENT AS and to the right of it there is a box and if you click on this you will be offered all kind of choices. Ignore them all. roll down to the final choice which says ANONYMOUS. That's for you. (This is the bit that really bothers people ...)

(Now, you may want your name to be revealed. So, at this stage you may then return to the box where you made your COMMENT and put your name at the end of what you wrote within the box.)

You will see the word PUBLISH - click on this ... and be damned.

I shall now attempt to publish this page. Prayer is useless at a time like this.

ONE MORE THING - I HAVE BEEN GETTING LOADS OF COMMENTS CONTAINING LINKS TO THE WRITERS' OWN ORGANISATIONS WHICH ARE USUALLY CONCERNED WITH FINANCE. THESE 'COMMENTS' ARE NOT REACTIONS TO MY PIECES, THEY ARE CRUDE ATTEMPTS TO INSERT MINISCULE TROJAN HORSES INTO MY BLOG. DON'T POLLUTE THIS PRECIOUS LITERARY TERRITORY WITH THIS SHIT!!!
